Rechenschwäche / Dyskalkulie

Ein begründeter Verdacht auf Rechenschwäche liegt vor, wenn mindestens eines der folgenden sechs Kriterien erfüllt ist:

  • Schwierigkeiten, die mathematischen Grundlagen zu verstehen (Zahl- und Mengenbegriff, img080Grundrechenarten, Stellenwertsystem)
  • Zählen statt Rechnen
  • Übermäßiges Üben hilft nicht, Hausaufgaben dauern zu lange
  • Auswendiglernen ersetzt Verständnis, schematische Lösungsversuche, z. B. schriftliche Rechenverfahren
  • Der Lernaufbau misslingt, der Schüler kann nicht mehr folgen
  • Vermeidung, Angst, seelische Belastung in Bezug auf Mathematik

In vielen Fällen werden mehrere (oder alle) Punkte zutreffen. Auch einem geringfügigen Verdacht sollte nachgegangen werden, um einer Fehlentwicklung vorzubeugen.
